( Diesel risen 150% in the last year??? Not here. It was about $2.10 to 2.30 last year in dec. Now it is just $3.00.

Home heating oil was $1.75 tops last year. It is now 2.15 to 2.40

Plus I do not have anything diesel except for my BX.

I do not know where the 150% came from but I have not see that increase since I have used diesel. )

Here it is last year when i got my BX23 I paid 1.98 a gal.at GO MART for the first diesel that i bought for it.
Filled my cans last week at this same station.2.98 a gallon.
That's pricely a 1.5050505 percent increase.

That is great. I still have yet to see that 150% come to life around here too. That 150% for me, is comparing when I dumped my F350 Powerctroke and got my car; hence that was 3.5 years ago. Yup, it took this long to get to the 150%.

Diesel is more then gas, thank god. If the end, who cares and we the customers will pay for it. I have a Bx22 and do not care if diesel was $6 per gallon. That is the only diesel I have. If the price was took much, I would sell it.

This was also the same guy (skypup) that stated that gas would not be found since hurricane Katrina was here; that was a mith. the gas around here was like nothing happened besides a little hike.

Then Diesel is not be found this winter due to this and that. This will not happen. The price will go up to $3.50 per gal, people will whine and they will still pay. Then once winter is over, it will go back down. Then next year we can do the samething over and over and over.

*What I don't like is being charged .524 cents a gallon for something I'm not getting!
Why do they add sulfer to the dye?

As far as I know sulpher is not added to diesel, when refining they have to remove it. They just add the dye for off road.

Diesel did decrease here a little last week, now it's only 130% more expensive than it was last year. Next week it will be real diffiuclt to find due to all the hurricane damage.

In my area high sulfur off road fuel is still available. It smells really different when using it. I don't think the add sulfur, just dont refine as much out.

I agree, down south it will be hard. Up here gas still still doing down. I know home heating oil is going over $2.50 and our natural gas is to go up 35%. People are whinning already about NG. So you pay $300 more in these few months to heat. If the $300 breaks your back, you have bigger issues then heat.

I just paid $2.50 for gas since I did not want to wait inline to save 5 cents per gallon.s

What about the older and disabled people that are on a fixed income? Some of these people live off 4 and 5 hundred bucks a month.

I really think you need to rethink your statement. Not everyone is as financially stable as you. Even some businesses, such as farmers will have a tough time, that is if they make it at all.

again this is 300 to $400 over 5 months of our heating season (in our state or New England). That is 60 to $80 max per month here. So someone who ownes a home, needs a phone, car, home owners insur, car insurance, gas for car, electricity, phone etc and we are worried about 80 max per month????I do not get it. Then down the road from me we have the clowns in 1-million dollar homes getting aid from our City for fuel. Gee, that is fair.

Again these figues are per our city. Again, $80 max per month is not breaking the bank here and our city has a payment plain if they want.

I did re-think it and if $80 more per month (max around here) is killing you, you better sell your house since this is just the start of it. It will not go cheaper as history notes.

To close I never stated I was "financially stable" I just know $80 is not even going to cover my Direct TV bill per month.
