Diesel engine compression test

I have a Deutz 1011 diesel that's very hard to start. Now that it's getting warmer out, I can get it to start reliably on ether. If it's 30 degrees it won't start, even with ether. I want to start my diagnosis with a compression test and then go from there. I have the gauge and the adapter, but what should I be looking at for pressures?

If you can't find a spec you could still do the test anyways looking for a large variance from hole to hole.
