Diesel fired coolant heater on CUT

Being a smaller engine it might not need the heater. My VW TDI 1.9 started without any issue at -20 about 3 years ago I just cycled the glow plugs on a second time before craning the engine.

If you have issues starting it in the cold just turn the key back to the glowplug for a few extra seconds. Also is starting is your concern I would be more worried about the fuel gelling.

Thanks everyone for the input. I have looked at the stick on and magnet heaters a little more. I might just wait and see what happens this winter.

how about a cheap propane shop heater (Amazon HEXAGO - 40,000 BTU Contractor Portable Liquid Propane Gas LGP Forced Air Heater) . just set it on the floor and point it to the tractor. let it run for 15-30 minutes

Those magnet heaters are NEVER cheap here, are not terribly effective and someone was telling me, they burn out frequently.
