The white bottle has more cetane but lacks antigel additives and the grey has less cetane in it but has the antigel additives added /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You'd better read the bottle. I can tell you that side by side they were almost identical unlike the quotes above. If I read the above quotes right then I would rather have the white bottle.

I made a mistake above. I have them reversed /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

The white bottle (diesel fuel supplement+cetane boost) has the anti-gel additive.

The grey bottle (Diesel Kleen® +Cetane Boost) does not have anti-gel additives.

Also on their web site it looked like they made there grey bottle white???

I even read the bottle on Saturday since I was so confused. The grey bottle had the bit about biological conditions but not antigel. It makes so much more sense now.

I burned 6 gallons of off-road on Saturday and now that I've started using the PS additive with the OR it seems to smoke less when under high loads. I was using my box blade as a poor mans chisel plow so I discovered that 5 ripper shanks buried deep takes lots of power but tills really well.

so guys being in mississippi where the temp usually doesn't get below 20 degrees f,should i even be concerned about gelling of the diesel fuel? or should i be more concerned about the almost 100 percent humidity in the summers?someone please help me with this,i am such a newbie to this diesel stuff?

You probably don't have to worry about gelling from temperature, but diesel can grow algae in it. You should at least use a biocide treatment, or a multipurpose treatment that includes a biocide.

Whitearrow just use the grey bottle (diesel kleen) and you will be just fine. Use it all year round and you will be good to go /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
