I'm laughing at this thread. I just got done being totally frustrated with the false information presenting the exact opposite: don't buy off-road diesel!
I have a 150 gallon tank: 2 tractors; a UTV and a generator. It has two filters, a water filter and a standard/particle filter. I am pumping a bit back into the tank before I put into any machinery in case there could be any water/condensation in the dispensing hose. Started doing this after I encountered some water issues in my Kioti's fuel tank: to this day I'm still not sure why only that tractor had issues- I got no water draining from my storage tank, and no other equipment has shown any signs of water (can only think that, since the Kioti was pretty new, that it came to me with some water in the tank).
Anyone dumping in bio-diesel will need to keep a watch out for clogging filters. Bio-diesel not only works well as a lubricant but it will also loosen up any crud in your fuel system: if you have an older piece of equipment that's not run bio-diesel then expect this to be more likely. Clogging will be limited to early use only, if at all. Also take into account manufacturer's notes about bio-diesel: mostly a concern if you're still under warranty, though there still could be some valid concerns.
