I use Stanadyne (can't even find PS around here ...) and they also say it is impossible to overdose, although doing so is not necessary.

Relax man the Power Service won't hurt your engine. When I was a kid servicing my Dad's White Freightliner and later with his hotshot Powerstroke Ford and now with my diesel powered VW and JD 790 I prime the fuel filter with 100% Power Service.

Thanks guys. It certainly isn't the syrupy stuff like the dewaxing aids/pour depressants we used that were really high molecular weight stuff.
Only thing is price. PS is a lot higher price than diesel. It's sorta like our lube oil additives that were $400/barrel into our base oil that was $20/barrel. (These are refinery prices, guys. A barrel is 42 gallons.)
