My wife doesn't like the smell and all but a little sniff me to. There is no play time until clean up, not even hugs. I have a high stack on mine.

Have you tried Power Service or some other brand Diesel Fuel Additive? I read somewhere that DFA (unspecified brand) tested very effective in reducing visible smog due to to more complete combustion.
