Nope, on road at many pumps here.

I would not even know where to buy red/off road diesel around here. This is not much of a farming community.

Wow, $3.69 was what our price was last summer before the fall of oil prices.. What is unleaded regular there?

We are $1.69 here in Branson, I filled up in Monett Mo. at $1.67 and later saw some $1.62

$2.89 for on road off road is usually 0.30 cents cheaper, no sure what the winter mix is right now but one station was advertising 70/30 mix. 70 percent #1 and 30 percent #2. I don't use a lot of fuel in the winter, just for snow removel and to bring in the wood for the stove. When I fueled up two weeks ago off road was $2.99.

Fuel I purchased in early December gelled and had to drain the tank, replace the filter and add 911 in the red can to get her going.

While gassing the car up at 1.869 yesterday, I noticed that on road was 2.18 and off road 2.03 if I recall correctly just south of Danville, KY.

The price for diesel here is $1.20/l or $4.56 / gal and that's todays price after a bunch of price reductions. A few months ago it was $1.49/l ($5.66/gal).

Seems like everything is less expensive south of the 49th.

Cheapest I'm seeing near me is $2.91, assuming on-road. Does one need to be tax exempt or have some sort of license/permit to buy off-road diesel?

Got 80 gallons of off road for $1.89 a gallon. If it gets to 1.75, I'm ordering 1000 gallons to have out at our place.

Can diesel be stored for long periods or do you go through a lot? I know storing gas for long periods is not a good idea, especially in hot weather.

No its for on road at a local chevron station which is "usually" a couple cents higher than anywhere else. Prob could have saved 4-5 cents had i gone to the local wal mart.

I think I paid $2.25 for off-road diesel for the BX this evening. I don't know what the highway diesel price was.

Your are all pretty lucky, here in our part of Australia the average price diesel was up around $1.62/L or $6.12/gal at times last year. Currently it is around $1.37/L or $5.17/gal. :irked:

The problem with Gasbuddy in Indiana is that prices for Diesel are seldom correct. GB Direct and others post prices without all taxes included and are not posting the actual pump prices. The actual prices are usually about .30 cents higher. You can't rely on this app in Indiana for Diesel prices. Diesel prices posted on signs at the station do not include all taxes for truckers and people do not look at the pump price.

Advertised price in South River, ON yesterday was $1.199/L or $4.53/US Gallon for 'on road' diesel. Regular gas was $0.919/L or $3.47 US Gallon.
Furnace oil up here is #1 diesel and it was going for $1.02+13%=$1.1525/L or $4.3568/US Gallon in December. Furnace oil is also 'coloured' fuel/off road diesel.

I have people mention that before, but here in Missouri what you see on the sign is what you pay at the pump. If a station posted something on a sign here and the pump registered something else, there would be a riot.
