The news came out yesterday that government debt in the US amounts to $44,215 for every man, woman and child in the country and yet there are people on this board talking about what a great job the government is doing. That is just un friggin believable. Our children are doomed. Democracy is a failure when half the population is too ignorant to read the writing on the wall.

Just a dozen years ago we were on track to pay off the debt. Then we had the massive tax cuts for the rich and those same people who wanted those cuts are now ranting about the debt. Duh! The rich have managed to manipulate much of the electorate into believing they, the rich, are overtaxed. Amazing!

According to this administration, it is a single person showing 200,000 on their tax returns, or married showing 250,000.

Do you realize that your local convenience store.........with less than 5 employees.......usually files their taxes on a 10-40 form(same as you), and shows income of well over 250,000. But they gotta pay the employees, and the Social Security, medicare, workers comp, unemployment..........plus repairs to the building, upgrades, heat, air, lights.............plus their own salary??????


George Stephanopolis is your man.............he is tellin you what he wants you to believe.


Positions like yours is why I try not to get into politics and such on forums...............


Because sooooooooooo many know soooooooooo little about life in general. Let alone the business aspect.


Ya wanna take all the money from the "rich".............run the numbers once. Ya got one chance to take everything they(the rich) have..........it will cover less than 10% of the federal deficit..............now ya got nothin but broke people..........and that includes the 'once rich' who did supply the jobs!!!!!

Lucky dog..........my nearest Kroger is about 35 miles, in another state. A direction I never travel in my car.
