I would dose the fuel with a biocide, put a pump in the tank with a 10 micron filter and just circulate right back into the tank.
If that filter doesn't plug up I'd be almost ready to use it. If it does plug depending on how long the pump had run before it plugged
I'd replace the filter and continue. When I could circulate for 20 minutes with a good flow through the 10 micron filters it would be almost usable,
my preference then would be a water block filter followed by a 5 Micron filter in series as I dispensed it to use.
