It was delivered yesterday afternoon. I didn't get to spend much time on it but I can say I'm very pleased. No, I'm thrilled! I was a bit concerned it might not have enough power but, believe me, it has plenty! I drove it up a pretty steep incline on my pond dam that I really didn't expect it to be able to handle. It went up there with ease.

I can predict that this machine will see lots of use.

Where did you find the specs on them?

The dealer had a literature page that showed the specs between the gas and diesel.

Oh, believe me these things are handy to have. We have one of the very, very early Gators right when they came out and we now have over 800 hours of flawless operation. Hopefully the new ones are as good as the old. If this one breaks I want a 6x4 gas or diesel.

I WORK AT A CHEMICAL PLANT. WE MANUFACTURE AMMONIA AND NITRIC ACID. WE HAVE A 2002 GATOR 2X4 WITH ALMOST 3000 HOURS. THE GATOR IS USED SEVEN DAYS A WEEK, 24 HOURS PER DAY. NOT CONSTANTLY, MIND YOU, BUT PROBOBLY 4-6 HOURS PER DAY. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS A DEAD BATTERY. THIS THING IS PRETTY TOUGH.
