I am purchasing a new 1540. But the 1533 is the same motor and frame/size. What on the motor is different to give it the extra up? Is it worth the extra few thousand? Could I make the extra modification myself ?

The ONLY differance between the 1533 and the 1540 is that the 1540 has a turbo on it to give it the extra hp. Other than that they are the same tractor.
If it was me I would still get the 1540.

I wish they offered a 1635 or 1640 cab with turbo, would of bought one.

The reason they didnt is because the 1643 went to a 4 cylinder and made up for the power diff in the 1540 without having to have a turbo.

Still debating on whether or not I get a Kubota4600 or the Massey1540.

Id go with the MF. All metal fenders and hood, great loader strength and smooth hydraulics.
