Difference between heavy duty and medium duty rotary cutter

You might want to take a look at Land Pride rotary cutters also. I went with the RCR18 series. The 60in model is constructed of 11 Ga steel and the 72in model is 10 Ga. I got the rubber belting front guard and the standard metal band on the rear. They offer optional chains for front and rear. The gear box has a 5 year warranty. I have the 60in model for my MF 1529 and have been very pleased. Cuts smooth and is very quiet when running. It's also quick hitch capable. guess this is a little late but i just bought a used 7 ft hardee for 1000 and i couldnt be happier it cuts very well 90 hp gear box is plenty for my ford 4610 and it doesnt bog the tractor in the heavy stuff you can run it with min 35pto hp to 85 pto hp according to there website i saw this mower at a used equipment dealer i thought it looked well built and man it does a great job very good mower think i will hang onto this one for awhile new ones are 3000 bucks and up
