Different kind of survey.

Has anyone taken the new survey concerning grey market tractors and a proposed organization that supports the tractor and the buyer?? I found it very interesting as the survey highlights areas about safety equipment, support for buyers between dealers and the significance of the term "Grey Market".

Seems to me that there's no shameless plug or specific model and more for the consumer's desires, than just a guy boosting his tractor sales. You might find it different and interesting. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=812431612347

I took a look at that survey. Very interesting. I would support an organization such as that even though I no longer own a grey tractor.

I agree. It seems that any dealer with the best of intentions, would consider an organization that 'maintains checks and balances' for a buyer (or potential buyer) before, during and after the sale.

I especially like the idea that if you bought your tractor out of state and discover another closer dealer recognized by this organization, then you have a place to be serviced or can obtain parts without being dealer shunned or gouged.

I'm with you, I no longer own a grey, but that really sounds likd a good idea.

This appears to be the follow-up to a survey several months ago, as promised by one of the posters on this forum. Quite frankly, I would be as likely to buy a used tractor, (gray or not), from a neighbor down the road as from any dealer.
