Is the diff lock supposed to pop out if you don't hold it in with your foot? My pops out immediately if you don't step on it. I have a F15D and occasionally I use the diff lock on slimy hills.

Thanks.

Stickboy:
I'm not sure on yours but I'm betting that yes it does pop back out when you take your foot of of it. On my little yanny it's spring loaded and only stays ingaged with foot pressure or if I remove my foot it will pop out when both tires have good traction.

That is correct. It is spring loaded to uncouple when the load is balanced. While one side has better traction than the other it will stay connected.

My FX24D pops out when my foot is not on it. BTW diff lock is great for snow & as you learned on hills.
