With the winter coming upon us I was wondering if my new B7500 BH will be able to dig into frozen ground. Anyone ever tried?

Guess the answer depends on how deep the ground is frozen. I have seen full size backhoes that have "frost" buckets. They weld a single tooth on the back (curved) side of the bucket. This is concentrates all the curl force on a single tooth and helps break through the frozen layer. Once you break the surface the rest comes up easily. If you're talking about the end of a cold winter where the soils frozen for the top two feet I think you're out of luck.
