A toothbar and 80+ yards of dug-up clay in my pasture says your salesman has never tried.As the salesman told me when I bought my first FEL, they aren't really for digging. He was right. They are a loader not an excavator.
I'm pretty happy with how my FEL & toothbar digs... cuts through even hard-packed soil that hasn't seen rain in weeks. The key is to not try to take too deep of a bite at once, but "shave" off a few inches at a time over a larger area. It doesn't take long to fill the bucket anyway. :thumbsup:
