I'm seeing some of these Diggit TH76 mulchers for sale, pretty cheap. I assume they are chinese import but I can't find anyone who has used one. They look to be better than the Topcat mulchers with teeth that actually overlap. It would be for farm use and not for business so I can't justify the cost of a Loftness or Fecon. Does anyone know anything about these at all?

Diggit Mini Excavators have recently been hitting the Auctions and Yes they are Chinese Imports. New 0 hrs but at the price of a 10 year old 5000hr Name Brand (or even lower)

So, you have to ask yourself "How often would I use this? Can I adapt some Parts that cannot be sourced easily? Can I use it in a way that I know isn't quite as roughly as maybe a Name Brand could be used? Am I using under the Max Rated HP or Over Powering it?" and so on.

I have a Chinese Mini with 65 hrs trouble free that I have used put on. Trouble free enough to purchase a Chinese Skid Steer to go along with it.

My take of "You get what you "Pay For" is "I don't need a Commercial Machine for Home and Cabin work"

I have a Bobcat T870 so its a pretty powerful machine, so it could probably tear it up. I'm seeing these mulchers go for around 4500 on some auctions, where a used Loftness is 15k or more. But if teeth can't be obtained and its poorly balanced its a trade off.

I suggest you use other brand from China

I rent machine and head and stick with known brands.

These heads take a beating and so do the machines operating them. I would not trust my life to a mystery brand chinese mulch head that might self destruct with me in a front row seat.

I would be really interested on what you found out about the quality of these mulchers, I have most often found that Chinese stuff is pretty much throw away junk but every now and then there will be something that you can get by with. I would like to have a mulcher to add to my forestry mower but it's so dog eat dog with mulching in this area that there is no way I am spending 30k on a mulcher.

I bought one for my t870, so far I've cut 10ft of brush before I blew the seal. Probably half operator as I've never ran one before. However it came with 3/8 line good to 2200 PSI which is really no good so went to tractor supply got some half inch hose went to my local hydraulic shop got some fittings hooked it up blew the seal out of the side of the hydraulic motor. Currently having a hydraulic shop find me a better pump to run Will keep you posted.

The guy I bought mine from said the Vermeer teeth fit it.

Sorry to hear about all the trouble, but you have told me everything I need to know, I hope it works out for you, but my experience with Chinese products has not been good. Charlie.

I needed to clear out some heavy brush that had stumps in it, turns out its easier to use my D7E to push it all away.

Did you end up finding a replacement hydraulic motor for the mulcher? I want to hook up my machine but it puts out 40GPM and 4100PSI so i need to upgrade the motor so it doesn't blow up. Just curious what you found for a motor?

What machine? My bobcat I can adjust the flow of the auxiliary port.

I understand you can adjust your flow. But i need to replace the hydraulic motor on the Diggit TH76. I have a CAT D299. just trying to find a replacement motor for the mulcher

Were you able to get it repaired?

I am just setting one up that I bought at auction, but I am curious how others have setup the hydraulics.

I have found a bunch of loose bolts that I need to tighten before I fire the machine up.

Were you able to find a manual anywhere?

Mr.twisted I have the same bobcat and same mulcher and same problem. Were you able to get anything figured out? I went to bigger lines as well, but seem to be having the same problem pretty much immediately after I start using it. someone said it could be a problem with the high flow ports on the machine. something about a seal being bad and it throwing all of that psi into the Case strain line.

There is no manuals anywhere. Still trying to find a replacement hydraulic motor for mine, its metric and hard to find

What motor did you end up putting on the mulcher

I got one at auction. I have 100 acres that I need to clear for trails and road. I was loving it, but I had some issues with the quick attach pins and it popped off and the hoses ripped out. Finally got new hoses and my sister was using and decided to go after an 8 inch tree. Now videos show mulchers chomping these down no problem, but this is not the $30k machines. The seal burst and all the fuild was shooting out. IN the process of trying to figure out a replacement option. If you figure out a motor that would work, please share. What I found is a Bradco manual that appears to look identical to my machine for the 72mm 3 hose option 30 - 45 gpm. Overall, my experience with the Chinese garbage is that it is actually pretty good for the price. The primary complaint I have is that they do not provide any kind of info or manual. Even if I had to order a part from China, at least let me know what I need to order, but there is nothing. The more complicated the equipment the more the risk of issues that are difficult to figure out a solution. I have attached the manual I found. Maybe this will help others. I saw one of these go for $2,000 at the auction and I almost bought it just for spare parts.... I am into mine about $4,500 at this point.

Did they find a motor that will work? Almost identical issue I have had. But can't get any input on a motor to replace or seals that will work. The hydraulic shop will not go out on a limb and suggest anything. They want serial number and a manual from the manufacturer to take the liability of anything they recommend. I just need a motor to get it running again. When it was working it was pretty damn amazing how well it was working.

I have not heard of anyone that has had any luck with one of these mulchers other than a very short period of time.
