Digital Hour Meter reset to Zero

Greetings, I have a 2016 Branson 4720c with around 230 hours. Yesterday I was using my tractor and I noticed that the hour usage gauge had reset to 0000.0 and was counting up. Being that it has a digital meter, is there any fix or did I turn on some trip meter? I have not had any battery issues and no funny gauge problems.

Any suggestions?

hmm that is a strange one, i've seen those digital meters do some funny things before, but i have never seen them just rest themselves on their hour count.
have you noticed anything else different with your meter? any light not coming on that used to or vise versa?
your meter may be on its way out, but you can test the functions of the meter if you have a multimeter and some time to check what voltages are goign to and coming from your meter.

that's so simple to do, you give it power, and it starts counting.. it has to only get power when the key is on though..
