Dilemma: R4 or Ag tires

I am looking to pick up a brand spanking new CK35 this week but am still debating between Ag or R4 tires. Here's a quick profile: 25 acres, 70% hilly, woody, with fair to poor logging roads throughout. Will be doing a bit of light bush-hogging, earth moving, and pasture leveling. Will also have the need for occasional snow removal on a fairly steep driveway. There is a 2 acre garden spot that if I get ambitious I will plow, disc, and and plant a few vegetables. There is a big piece of me that says go with the Ag tread, but is it necessary if I'm not going to be doing a lot of ground engagement?

Your given situation ... Ag tires... is my vote.

I'm in a similar situation, back and fourth, fourth and back. R1's is the route i'm going to take. Mainly for the extra traction and the fact i remember growing up mowing lawn with an old oliver 550 utility tractor with loaded R1's with a rear finish mower, and never once did i mar up the lawn.

I would go ag tires for what you described.

Ag... How much running on the "lawn" will you have to do? I'm going to need to get a set of Ag's for myself, some time in the future.

Another vote for the R1 Ags. You will never regret having too much traction.

Ag tires were cheaper when I was shopping, and for the conditions and jobs you describe the only advantage to R4's would be they are thicker/tougher.
With snow on a steep drive, hilly and poor roads, I can't see why you would not want Ag tires.

R1's, especially if you're going to be in mud and/or up down steep slopes in snow. Not even a question.

NO AG TIRES FOR CK35 IN 70% HILLY TERRAIN!! Too Tippy. I have Ag on 2005 CK30, so weird I have to be very careful even on slightly slanting terrain when not going straight upo and down. Neighbor has similar Kubota with non ag tires, he is much more stable.

And his snow traction is almost as good as mine.

Do not get ag tires, you will tip over. Do not ask.
