Tractor is still down, been two weeks, not impressed. They got the cylinder in but the fittings do not fit the old cylinder so back to waiting....

Wow... That's not good news. I thought one of the posts said Kubota had released a service bulletin on Sept 10th regarding this problem. My dealer said he was not aware of this as of Friday the 16th. You would think if they had a service bulletin they would have sorted out what parts are needed. Then again the history reported on this forum appeared to be all different cylinders.

Hope your tractor absence ends soon. I still enjoy operating the tractor. It seems to be the right size, weight and power for my needs.

What bothers me is Kubota doesnt seem to care and will fix it at their leisure. Why if they know they WILL break do they not send out replacement cylinders? Why is it taking so long to get "fittings"?

I know there were issues with these way before september as well...

I love the fact that since they didnt have the parts and they didnt receive all the correct parts they want to CHARGE me for expedited shipping.... Worst customer service I have seen. Thumbs down to Kubota.

What fittings didn't fit? The hydraulics? I would have thought the hydraulic fittings could be purchased / hoses made up locally. Still think it sounds like they don't have an upgrade kit. Wonder how many BH75 sales they have lost because of their lack of responsiveness?

We have only had one break from 6 or 7 we have sold. So the problem is not thru the entire line. Some of it will have to do with how heavy the use is on the backhoe I would imagine. The other thing the bulliten states is that the new fittings will need to be purchased locally which means that the dealer can not order them thru Kubota but must find them thru other channels.

Interested in opening a dealership in New England? I would be happy to give you my business.

My worry would be how much is too much for the BH. Shouldn't the relief valves protect the equipment?

Thanks for providing the information /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well IT WILL happen to the others, just a matter of time. I have TWO hours on it and not that heavy of use, and in reality the power of the machine should not exceed the structual capacity. The fittings were ordered from a third party vendor. I could care less where they come from, Kubota should be supplying them as its their problem.

They should at least give me something I can use in the mean time, take one of the cylinders off from one of their stock if they are sure its not a "wide spread" issue. Wait till someone breaks theirs after warrenty.
