Direction of front PTO bearing

The bearings came apart in the front PTO of my G1800, and I have it apart to replace them all. They were in pieces so I couldn't tell the direction of the oil seal on the bearing.

Looking at this pic, bearing (part #30) has ball bearings on one side, and an rubber oil (?) seal on the other side of the bearing.

Does the oil seal (closed part) go to right on drawing, or left on the picture.

The seal goes to the out side. A seal is to hold grease or oil in and to keep dirt out.
