Hello. I have several directional control valves which I know nothing about. I am have a hard time finding any information on them as the company who makes them has since went out of business. I tried to download pictures but for some reason could not. The brand is Greson. I can email pictures if anyone could be of any help. I have no use for them and would like to know if they are worth anything and who would be interested in them. harmanlori42@gmail.com

Gresen was purchased by Parker Hannifan several years ago. Depending on the valve type and condition they may be of some value. Do these valves have any name plates on them?

Harman,
The one is what is called a sandwich valve assembly. It appears to have four sections for controlling different functions. Without knowing what spool type their is in each function it becomes guessing game on how useful they would be.

Other valve is two spool mono-block. This could possibly be used for a FEL control again depending the spool type.

Thank you so much for the useful information you replied with. As for youR comment regarding "artificial intelligence replacing my natural stupidity..." There are several places I would like to tell you to put it. However I believe this site is supposed to be a place to be helpful and informative. Not a place for you to degrade people and take out whatever frustrations you may be enduring ****** or otherwise.(I would imagine the first choice) You see my husband recently passed away and left me with 3 children to support. Due to the length and suffering he endured during his illness (Acute Myeloid Leukemia-look it up one of the cruelest cancers) all of my resources were exhausted with the exception of a garage full of things of this type. So again I would like to thank you for the "INTELLIGENT" info you managed to muster up as for the other I am going to chalk it up as IGNORANCE. Things are not always as they seem any "Intelligent" person should know that. Thanks again-things are bad enough for my family. Did your mother ever tell you if you can't say anything nice do not say it at all...

Harman,
My signature line is in no way way shape or form meant to degrade anyone. I am sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. If you have a hydraulics repair shop locally they could possibly help determine what the valves are so that you could then put them up for sale and have a better chance of getting offers Vs some low ball bid for an unknown valve.
