I have been looking for new blades for a 24 blade disc . Does anyone have any recomendations or can anyone advise me on the differences in the steel. I will get scalloped for the front and smooth on the back.

Agreed: Agri Supply.

The heaviest 24" pans will have the thickest steel. That is all you have to go on.

You will have to measure the hole in the blade (axle size) and match it as well. Good notched blades will have a star shape hole so the notches can be staggered from the one next to it. Will cut better that way.

Third vote for Agri Supply. I have one abut 45 miles from me so an easy pickup. They did and think still sell blades made in India and Brazil . It not mistaken the Brazil blades have a higher rate that to me makes me think are better blades. Web site should cover that well.

Shoup has every size, thickness, center hole style available, for every disc ever made. Shoupparts.com
Heat treated boron steel made in America.
Found from 16" x .137 thickness for a horse drawn I restored to 26 1/2" x .256 thickness for a brush disc.
