How big a disc can I pull with this? It'll be on flat clay-based ground. Why doesn't info like this get put in the owner's manual???

Thanks

I suspect that putting something like that in the manual would be misleading since soil conditions and terrain can make a pretty big difference in what you can or can't do with any tractor. Even factors such as moisture content of the soil can make a variation in what size disk you could pull.

That is why I ask my local dealer for a recommendation since he is familiar with the area where I will be using the equipment.

That's a little 17hp L. I wouldn't go more that 4-5'. and a light duty model. The problem you will run into is traction as the soil loosens up.

My newer L2500 does have some recomendations on the implements. This probably more to do with the weight than anything else.

This is my L pulling a 5' light duty. That loam will bury my tractor in no time.
