I'm looking for another 6' foot disk and saw this for for sale locally. Just wondering what it would be worth. From the picture it looks like the back half hinges but not sure. Has anybody used one like this? Is it worth using? It will mainly used for deer food plots

I think it would work fine as it is for your uses. It could be easily modified to be rigid. Looks to me like it's designed for the rear gang to be folded up to create a single disc. But maybe I'm dreamin. What do they want for it??? These type implements are usually priced high because of demand. :)

For a Disc Harrow to cut effectively the pans need to be at least 18" in diameter and the spacing between pans should be 9" rather than 7" or 7-1/2".

It is an unusual layout with 6 pans in front and 8 pans in the rear, with no gang angle adjustment possible that I can see.

Folding and unfolding this type of Disc Harrow is potentially hazardous. How are you going to lift 350 - 400 pounds safely?

I have no plans of ever folding it up, I would probably weld it down and also add weight to it

if you like it buy it doesn't matter what anyone thinks it's your money. Jeff I will disagree with you on blade size seen lots of older disc with small blades to good jobs, some of the old bushhog disc's will out do the new one's. these little disc's ( 8ft ) with big blades don't weigh enough
