Diverter Install on L39 or L45?

I would drill and tap the loader tower, mount the valve to the tower, make 6 new hoses as needed.

I'm not sure how easy that would be to do. There isn't a lot of room to get a drill/tools in there and the loader tower isn't exactly removable on this machine.

For clarification, when you refer to the "loader tower" you are referring to the gray piece.

Correct, the gray vertical portion of the loader. A 90* drill should do it. I used an air 90* drill when I did my 3215 and I would think that it would be tighter than you L45.

That is probably the easiest way. You might be able to position the valve so you could use the existing hoses from the loader valve. Then you would need two short ones to go to the existing curl function hard lines on the load arm and two long ones for your grapple.

Another option would be to mount the valve out on the loader cross member tube. You would have to cap off one side of the hard piping where the curl hoses connect and use the other side to connect to your diverter valve. Then you would have to run new hoses from the valve to the curl cylinders and your grapple.

For your second idea to work I'd have to basically abandon the factory hard line across the tube. That doesn't really interest me. Kubota did such a good job protecting it and making it bulletproof i would be adding a significant weakness.

Somewhere near the tower or along the frame is where this valve is going. I guess i need to pull the hose and see where it will route.
