Thank you guys for all your response, did allot of digging aroung, and found some interseting info
"the real Mccoy" well the real Mccoy was an drip oiler used on steam engines, this gentlemen call Elias Mccoy patented it. And it was so good that some copys were maid but train Engeneer starting asking for the real Mccoy, now that saying means the real thing, Interseting, (to me anyway's)
And yes you could do one using a jar and a valve, but I want something a little more presice for my snow blower drive chain, right now i have to remove 2 bolts and then use an oiler, why they did not put that chain in a chain case I will never understand.
The reason I was thinking of making one was that I did not think they still made them, but they do, and they varry in price from 35.00 to 500.00, if you go with an electric shut off valve
So I think I will call around and see if I can find one locally, if not I will order one from e bay, The ones from e bay are very nice made of brass and have a glass or plexyglass container
Again thank you for all your help,
If some one has an idea of where I can get a good quality one, I would apreciate it, today I will call TSC store, and Grainger,
Thnx
