diy dual tractor mounted snowblowers

I just ran across your discussion in customization forum," V plow dual snowblowers" and wondered if anyone with a smaller budget, has mounted a couple used garden tractor snowblower heads on a small farm tractor instead of spending $1500 + on a commercial unit for driveway clearing. I've been thinking of doing it for a while now and would like to know if it's already been tried.

Even the most inexpensive 3 PH or front snowblower for a CUT is far more robust in construction than a garden tractor blower. I would be surprised if a garden tractor blower could tolerate the stressed put on it by a CUT even with light snow.

I'm always amazed at the price (new) garden tractor blowers or attachements go for in general. Often times they cost more than the CUT equivalent.
