Rob, I must confess, I don't have any idea what a “wiki” is  or how to use one. That is true with a lot of things with me, but a little more information on the subject might help. ;)

A wiki is an editable Web site that does not require users to know HTML. Most have a system to record changes so that, at any time, a page can be reverted to any of its previous states.

If you can edit a post on this forum.. you can handle a wiki.
It will allow anyone to edit a page to correct it or add content to it.

Sounds like a great idea .... I wonder about copywrite, etc. But the bottom line, is a more Saisified Kioti owner = more Kioti owners.....

Thanks for the explanation. I have been directed to Wikipedia several time while Googling a variety of different subjects.

Conceptually it seems like a good idea, but obviously success is highly dependent upon participation. As far as copyright infringement goes and with the caveat that I am no legal expert, (I don’t even play one on TV :p ) it is my understanding that as long as large segments of published manuals are not used verbatim and an additional value is added to the text, then it would most likely fall under the reasonable use doctrine. With that said, I would be in favor of it. :)

To be on the safe side I've already contacted Kioti on the idea. I used the contact form on the website on Thursday night.

I'm looking to create a place to share photos and info on the tractors. A Kioti specific site for owners to help each other basically.

I'll start a new thread to get input from everyone.. if they like the idea and what they would want.
