O.K. sorry but this is the last try. I had the tracotr at dealers all winter to get things worked out. Loader specs out with the tracotr hydraulics and pressure. BUT it is so slow !!! Any one have any pearls of wisdom besides selling this rig. It has a Woods 1020 loader . It is trong and the curl angle and power are good but wow baby is it slow to curl and dump ! Please help !!

I know you wont want to hear this but.....
If you increase all of your hydraulic line to 1/2 inch you will get the speed.

Or maybe just replace the curl and dump lines with 1/2 inch???

Are the cylinders on the Woods loaders larger diameter?

It could be a number of thigs causing the problem. The main thing is likely geometry. The original loader was designed with very quick dump and curl as you may remember. To achieve this, they gave up some roll back power. So, when you changed to the woods loader, it has different geometry as well as it may have bigger cylinders which require more oil further reducing cycle time. Pump capacity it cannot be changed. Max output is max output.

First, something cheap. Remove the quick attach couplers and "hard plumb" the lines. This should help, by removing the small restriction of the couplers.

Maybe try some ritalin for the operator each time before using the loader? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There are speed specs on the loader as well. If it's under warranty and not meeting the speed, then place the burden on the dealer to correct it, whatever the cause.

Don't know what to say. I guess the obvious is that the loader works faster at higher RPM due to the higher flow of the fluid.

If you're operating at low RPM, any loader is going to be pretty slow. Other than that, Rick Wallaces suggestion to change out the hoses is about the only real fix I know of, but I'm no hydraulic expert, not by any means.

Gmol, you could also try this for a quick fix.
