Thanks for the heads up. Appreciate your comments and observations.

I checked mine and the hole is about the same size as the one you drew in your first photo. My two hoses appear to be in the middle of that hole.

I'll keep a watchful eye.

On my dk45 the hoses are in the center of the cut out, and there is about 1/2" -3/4" clearance on all sides.

But thanks for the heads up, ill keep an eye on it in the future.

again thanks for the heads up, i changed the battery on the weekend on my Daedong EX50 and had a quick look at the pipes, they had already started rubbing ( 300 hrs on clock ). i was unable to move the panel up to centre the pipes so i die grinded the panel to give enough clearance.
thanks
again - good work.
cheers

Same here...my clearances are OK. But thanks for the "heads up". It serves as a reminder to take a closer look around every now and then.

Hey MotorSeven,

I just checked my lines this am, and sure enough they are VERY close .. I can see where this will rub through given enough time .. I have about 120 hours on machine now.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll get my die grinder out and fix this.

Tractor on and THANK YOU again!!

Cow, I looked at your photo and it looks to me like you have had contact....there are lines on the top of both hoses where the metal has already touched. I bet if you check all the bracket bolts they will be tight but the tank moves up and down when the hood is raised all the way(push hood all the way open, pull down, push up, pull down), so I actually thing the tank is settling/moving in it's bracket over time.

Hey, I am glad this has kept some of y'all from having diesel spewing everywhere!

I have been in the habit of only ever half filling my tank. After reading these posts I think I'll continue the practice.

I agree .... Houston we have contact! ... hehehe ... Did you have to pull the tank out to get the die grinder in there? Or can you just loosen the shield bolts and pull it forward?

No, I stuck a large screwdriver down behind it to pull it away from the tank, then I gently grinded the metal away(too lazy to loosen it all up).
