DK10se owners, power question

Hey everyone,

I've been reading this forum for years, just recently signed up. Great community and very helpful. Thanks for that.

I'm about to make a purchase on a DK10se tractor...I drove the 4210 and it was very comfortable. I know this is a non turbo version, and it seems decent on power, but was wondering if anyone owns or has driven the larger hp versions. The dealer will give me a great deal on a 4710. When does it stop, 5310? etc...

Any regrets getting the 4210? Also would love to hear from anyone who owns 4710se and up. I'm locked in on this series. Will be perfect for my property.

what is your location? are you located at a high altitude where you will benefit from a turbo charged engine?

Do you need the horsepower? Turbos work great with Diesels: more power with little extra weight and no real fuel penalty. But turbos do add cost and complexity. For "pulling" weight is more important than horsepower. But you might need horsepower if you run a heavy PTO load. Then again, I haven't heard many say they wish they bought a smaller tractor.

I'm considering similar options: CK4010se vs DK4210se vs DK4710se.

I'm leaning toward the DK10se over the CK10se, as the difference in size seems well worth the price.
I'm leaning toward the DK4710se over the DK4210se to get a PTO HP closer to 35 for snowblower use.

My main concern is that I have a fairly steep 600' driveway that I plan to snowblow and scrape/grade. Is there any reason to prefer the CK4010se over the DK4210se to have a higher HP to weight ratio? Thanks.

Ive driven them both a lot trying to make a decision. In my opinion the CK10se is just a little smaller machine, more nimber in woods and brush etc. I'v considered it , as I have a lot of wooded land. Im going to the dealer tomorrow and I
ve made my decision. DK4710se hc. I'm pretty excited. I havent commited to any price so far, but after several weeks we are at 28,300, block heater and some swag, 3 hats. I'd really like to get my tires filled on that price. We will see. I think its fair, though.

I have put 100 hrs on my DK4710SE mostly doing snow removal I have a 6’ hla snow pusher with backdrag and 6’ normand blower and can say that this was the best winter I’ve had in a long time I would lose traction before running out of power. Only thing I need is to load the tires for additional weight

I recently had my DK4710SE HC delivered. All finished, not including tax, I got filled tires, 72" LandPride box blade, block heater, kioti cutting edge for the bucket, and the 3 hats for 29,100. Pretty pleased I went with this model! I got the tractor 5 days ago, but the box blade came yesterday. Ground is still frozen rock hard but...here some pics!

Hey I'm asking dk10se how do you find your 3 point hitch when raising it, is it jumpy or bouncy? I have a DK4210 SE cab and it shakes the crap out of me when I raise it
