Is it normal to hear a clunk after engaging 4wd?
Just hit 1000 hours and it seems like the clunk is getting louder!

Mine will do it when disengaging then driving a short distance. I mentioned it on here but I don't recall anyone having that issue. I find if I switch off 4wd and back up a few feet it never happens.

After you take it out of 4WD, then back up a few feet. Usually stops the clunk on mine. Keep a close eye on the axle fluid level too.
