Backhoe DK40 backhoe

 / DK40 backhoe #11
I have a rhino 75 backhoe so i dont know if this will apply to the new ck style backhoes. but if you pull the plate to access to the hydraulic tank for backhoe, behind the tank there is a 3 inch channel that has been drilled that is directly in line with top hitch. ive seen this on the 1914 and 3054 but am not familiar with the new ck i will bring the digital camera home this weekend and take a picture to show better than i can explain wart

Wart I would suggest that you take that top link off.
They were not designed to work like that at least they do not have anything in the instruction manual for Kioti or Rhino and chances are if you have a problem the manufacture will no stand behind you.

For everone else if you are getting to much movement an your bolts keep loosing up I would weld the subframe.
We have done several that way.

the local kioti dealer has 1914 and 3054 set up like i said. thats what made me think that mine should be set up like this. i guess i will be talking to him this weekend to see why. thanks for the info wart

wart,
Leaving the top link attached shouldn't hurt anything but I don't think its needed.
I run a Rhino 85 with subframe and remove the top link.

( when i bought my kioti lb1914 with loader and backhoe it did not come with a top link. the first good stump i got to i felt the back of the seat bounce of the rops installed a top link and have not had a problem since. wart )

wart,
The subframe should have some sort of pins (under the tractor, on the front of the subframe).
The top link should not be need to keep the backhoe from jumping up.
