Guidester, all the HP or torque in the world won't do you any better for draft loads on the DX35 - DX45. The hydro transmission is set to 5000 psi relief on all these models. The DX45 can pull no more than the DX35. It's like a 12 yr-old boy or a weight-lifter fishing with 6 lb test line. It doesn't matter how much you can pull when you exceed the limit.
The real gains of the higher HP tractors are in hydraulic and PTO power. If you don't need those and want a hydro tranny, go with the DX35. If you want to use all the HP for draft loads, you'll have to get the gear tractor. That's just the way it is because of that fixed 5000 psi relief valve on the hydro tranny. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
