Update! After testing, I discovered I had the 12v at the solenoid but not the ground. I placed a temp ground from the frame to the solenoid and Presto! 4wd back in action! Due to the weather, I will troubleshoot the open in the ground when it gets a little warmer, but for now, I will be able to plow the driveway without issues. Thank you James and jabelding for your help on this! Also, a big thank you to Concord tractor in Chichester, the owner called me right before I started working on the problem today with more advice on trouble shooting. They are a class act, and have my business from now on.

Well, there you go. At least you got it going enough to use. Troubleshooting dashboard grounding issues in freezing cold, has to be painful.
