DK45S finally arrives ready for duty....or is it?

My first new tractor finally arrived Friday night. First intial "bugs' set in very quick. The bolt that holds the pin down on the bucket was broke and the pin was already coming out. Now I know the bolts were not checked in the pre delivery. So I'm going to check them. Found the rear R4 tires backwards. Direction of arrow is facing rearward. The fronts are on correctly. I imagine the rears should face forward as well. I fixed the broken bolt today. When I raised the loader to fix the bolt and tried to shut off the tractor with the key it would not shut off. Had to pull the emergency stop switch. Pushed the switch back in and the tractor now won't start. Had to reach up under the side panel and push the lever forward on the pump and then the tractor started. I shut it off with the key this time and it worked fine. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif All fluids were full, but I found 2 lug nuts loose on the rear tires. Tractor has 1 hour. I know when I spend as much for my tractor as I do for a one ton piston-less truck I expect it to work when I want it to. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
How many people buy a new truck and take it strait home and check the lug nuts, crawl under and check the bolts that attach the bed and bumper to the frame and while they are at it better check the motor mounts!!! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Good point. I work at a new vehicle dealership. We are constantly under the magnifying glass on service, sales and new vehicle get ready. We are graded on our performance daily. Our salary depends on good results. Lets give the dealer a chance on Monday to make things right.

Lets wait and see how he responds to this first. Everyone makes mistakes in there daily jobs. How they handle responsibility of these mistakes makes the biggest difference.

It sounds like you got a dealer who doesn't actually do his pre-delivery inspection..... Thats Just the dealer and everything you mentioned is in the predelivery check list. Anyway if it wasn't done blame it on poor dealer service not Kioti. You will be very happy with your tractor.

By the way.... since you know the pre delivery wasn't done, you might want to ask them to do it.
