Just to let you all know, I checked the tires and the arrow on the inside faces the same direction as the arrow on the outside. I have no idea what the gentleman at Kioti is talking about. This is giving me a headache. How about I just change the tires myself?

I have to believe someone would notice the tires backward.
What brought it to your attention?

Of course the arrows will point the same directon on both sides. the arrows indicate direction of rotation so if the arrow is at the top of the tire it would point to the front and if it is at the bottom, it will point to the rear.

Could you possible take a picture of the tires? If you look on our website you can see how the tires should be...

Directional tires have arrows pointing in the direction the tire would be travelling forward. I really don't know if it makes any difference. I was just mad about the fact the dealer could not take the time to answere a couple of questions about the different issues. Every tractor I have own has always had ag tires on it. They also have directional arrows pointing in the forward direction. All I really wanted to know from my dealer is why they were facing the opposite direction. If it makes no difference, than so be it. I just felt like after buying a new tractor that I should be able to get at least a phone call.

The pictures that you took look like to me there is no difference between the 2 tractors. I don't think there is any difference if the tire is on either side. Just from looking at yours. Thank you for your help.

I can tell you for sure yours are not on correctly, and yes, it does make a difference in the way the traction is applied. If you look at Jon's pictures in the thread New DK45S pictures, blow it up to full size, you'll see that the treads on the rears exactly match the treads on the front. The arrow points in the forward direction.
Look on the rims to see if they have L and R stamped, I think they do, at least some model had that, I just don't remember which.

You are correct. I called a tire service center and Titan. The Titan product engineer says most definitely the tires are on wrong. I can't understand why the Kioti service engineer disagreed with me. Still waiting on a call back from Kioti. Gave up on the dealer calling me back. I called him Monday morning. Where is that Dealer Hall of Shame board at?

I am sorry to hear about all of these issues. All I can say is what a headache. I fully agree with others that it seems the dealer is horrible. I know when I first got my tractor, I called the dealer with some of what I thought were the dumbest questions and I always recieved a return call in a prompt manor and it made me feel good. I can't imagine how something like this would have soured my joy of having the new toy. Good luck and I jope this gets resolved quickly for you!

Donnyj writes:

"I called the dealer twice today. First time the owner was not in. The guy on the phone said that they probably don't want to run down just to swap the tires. Asked me if I had a jack? The second time the owner was on the phone with someone else. The same guy said that it was to much trouble to run down there. Just swap them yourself. Keep in mind I have sent 4 different people to him to buy a tractor."

Unbelievable! Donnyj drops 19k, sends 4 tractor buying customers to the dealer and is asked if he has a jack and suggest to donny that he do it himself because it's to much trouble for the dealer to swap the tires!

There is absolutely no excuse for the dealer or Kioti to treat a customer like this. It's just as much Kioti's fault as it is the dealer. The dealer IS Kioti. If this is the way the dealer operates then Kioti should pull his franchise. Time to shut that garage door for good. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Kioti is cutting it's own throat by letting dealers get away with this kind of thing.

I hope every thing gets worked out for you. I am still waiting for the parts to fix my loader. I hope to have it back working by next week. I have been lucky to have Wallace as my dealer and he got right on my problems and got me taken care of. I am glad I went through him.
It would be nice to have a One Ton electric truck or one you just power by solar or hydrogen fuel cell. What with the price of diesel costing $12 for a five gallon can. That's $2.39 a gallon here.
