Hi,
I fear the difference here is that the Kioti dealer quoted you a price with a hefty discount included. The Kubota on the other hand was not so quick to discount. Our dealers up here(Kubota)always give out the list price so they can react to the type of buyer you are. You want O% they don't have to move the price, where the Kioti guy has to pay to help buy down the rate so he has to get his price back up close to list price.
If you compare tractor for tractor, spec for spec the Kioti is most often less money and give you a year longer warranty. Kubota has come out with several models that are more HP, but lighter tractors to try to compete with Kioti pricing. More HP and less weight is not what you want in most cases.
Check HP, weight, features and warranty and Kioti will come out on top.
I am of course more partial to the Kioti Brand, but this is all just fact.
