Floor mats are optional. I got the floor mat and it's a nice thick rubber but it cost $150

Are you having any trouble with the extra length from the third function controller? I'm finding the extra length causes the fel control hits the gear shift if I'm in 1st or 3rd. Adjusting it towards the steering wheel provides up and down clearance but if I try to roll the bucket it runs into the gear shift again.

Can the rod itself be replaced with something shorter?

Used the tractor for the first time this weekend and did not notice any clearance issues.

I'd be interested in how the fuel tank location works out. I've noticed on the new tractors the new location and it seems to me there would be safety issues with clearance. Handy for filling of course.
BTW congrats on your purchase. I have a DK 45 and have been happy with it. I played with the idea of a grapple but I am opting with a wood chipper as I clear land and I can get away with a set of times to move the bigger stuff. I am thinking of getting a cable hook up for yarding though so I can selective cut.

The property owner to my north contracted a logger about 5 years ago ...... sometime after cutting the trees but before actually loading them and getting them out there was a dispute between the owner and the logger and all the logs were left.

River floods and all those logs end up washing down river onto my property. A few hundred of them I would guess. All jammed up in a relatively small area on the northern edge of my property .... the grapple will be getting a workout this spring.

Nice looking logs. Good chance to pay for the grapple and clean up your property. Are the logs all the same length? Looks like they were cut for studding.
