Usually when you plumb a grapple to the rear remotes, you use the remote's control lever to open and close the grapple.

i haphazardly plumbed this to the rear remotes (wish i could figure out my reasoning at the time); another forum user with a DK55 has a grapple with a kit that keeps all the functions on the FEL joystick. there has to be a better way..

i'll put this on the to-do list (which seems to grow exponentially now that we've finished the restoration).

Check WRlong for a diverter kit made for your tractor. The diverter seems very simple to install and works by way of a single button on the FEL joystick. You press the button and while you hold it down the left/right curl function is replaced by the open/close of the grapple until you release the button.

The bummer of the rear remote hookup is that you have to take your hand off of the FEL joystick and move it to the remote lever for grappling.

A third and more complicated method is a two way switch on the FEL joystick that controls solenoids that will send power to open/close the grapple while still maintaining full functionality of curl and lift of the loader.

The cheapest and quickest way to get your grapple working is with the rear remotes.

Not much of a bummer at all. In fact after using the grapple for an hour or so it is a totally natural motion, virtually unconscious. I'd compare it to using a clutch. Maybe an issue the first time you do it but pretty soon it is second nature.

Put in the rear remotes. I cannot imagine it is a lot more money or hassle than putting in the diverter valve and joystick modification. Lots of other potential uses for the rear remotes too.

Personally, I plan to go for the dual remotes. Purchased from the same guy as you with the premade 6 chunks of hydraulic hose leading to the front. I want to use a bulkhead fitting and a bracket to mount the QDs to the removeable cover of the KL130 loader. I've got a plan I think, just need my tractor and then some cash.

I've been searching for the Millonzi(sp) seller on ebay and have only been finding a tatro look alike and the skid steer solutions grapples for more money. Do they have an actual website?
