DK65 vs DK65S Is it worth the wait?

Been shopping around and decided on a DK65S with ROP.
I have talked to 3 dealers and the comments went from can't get one with ROP or it will be at least August / September before the DK 65S with ROP will be avalible. Does anyone know the status of a DK65S with ROP. Is the difference in the DK65S (ROP) worth waiting for, since several dealers have the DK65 on their lots wanting to move them.

My sources say they won't be here till this fall. We just re-ordered some DK65 ROPS tractors. Yes the DK65s is nicer, but the DK65 was one heck of a tractor to begin with. If you need the tractor go for it and get the DK65, if you can wait till August or later then you might hold off. Price will be cheaper on the DK65 over the 65s, so that might be something to consider, and finance rates could go up between now and then as well.

If they say it will be avalible in Aug/Sept, that probably means Nov/Dec. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Remember the CK20 when it was suppossed to be released. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

If you go by looks only, I think the new S looks better. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Performance wise, I do not know how it could perform better than the orginal. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

For me, I wouldn't even consider the new S until they put a new loader on it.

The current ROPS version, DK65 is a real hog. It's a great tractor, and you'd enjoy it just fine. Yes, the new DK65S is worth waiting for if one isn't itching to get started, but there sure isn't anything wrong with the original.
