do any kubota dealers discount?

I live about 10 miles south of you in Dighton, MA. The problem with Kubota dealers in this area is that they are all owned by the same family. Very little if any discounts, take it or leave it pricing. I would try some of the dealers north of the border in New Hampshire. They have much better prices and friendly salespeople.

I would try MB equipment in Plaistow NH, they may give you a good deal. But it seems that the orange Kubota paint turns to gold when the tractors are shipped in to New England.
As you know Rehoboth is just the next town over from me, small world.

My tractor and RTV purchases have been 13% to 15% off but they won't discount parts. That is using Kubota financing but they don't charge extra if you pay cash.

Seems like they wouldn't charge extra for cash, since they have already likely put the finance charges in for those paying by credit card, or via their own financing programs.

When I bought my BX25 I asked about cash in lieu of using the Kubota credit program. Answer was its the same price. The dealer stated Kubota was more interested in their credit program as the interest is really in the advertised price anyway. I didn't really have all the cash but figured if the discount was significant I could finance elsewhere and put some cash in as equity. I decided not to tie up my cash anyway and do the 0% deal. Separate financing would have been at 8% anyway. When I was looking at used tractors I was not able to find anyone that would finance with the tractor as collateral, I could only get a personal loan or put on a credit card if buying from a dealer. The money world has become vicious.

When I priced a L3200 in Panama City Florida I told them I would be paying cash. The price he quoted was about 15% off list price, so I thought it was because of the cash. I decided to wait, but if I do shop again, I will ask both ways and see what makes the most sense.

You can find banks that loan using the tractor as collateral. You have to look, but they are there. Best bet is to hit up the rural farm areas and find a locally owned small town bank. That is a big part of their business - ag related loans. FYI

Do you have a pick-up truck and trailer or can borrow? That will open you up to several aggressive pricing Kubota dealers, Rosy Brothers in Michigan, Barlows in Kentucky. Make your deal over the phone, drive down and haul home some savings.

Or they will deliver for mileage. If they have another tractor coming your way, you split transport cost.
