I have Morning Doves, Turtle Doves. Inca doves, & seasonal White wings.
Generally the doves & the other birds, ( 2 types of cardinals, quail, sparrows. finches, hummers, cactus Wrens, Road runners, wood peckers & oriels + ??) Get along pretty well.
Turtle coves are not native, they are the ones released at weddings & funerals. The aggressive eaters are the White Wings. But they do not bother the hummers or the other small birds. Often see 3 or 4 different types of birds at the feeders.
The Oriels will chase the hummers off the sugar water bottles, bit will let a Sap Sucker / wood pecker hang upside down & drink.
Have a small hawk or Falcon that comes through now & then, some times grab a dove and other times just make a strafing run.
Have watched quail & cotton tails, chase each other out of a moist hole that they take turns digging.
Birds like to play, chase each other & do fun silly things.
