I just removed the head and pistons on my 60 and made these measurments in the cylinder bores. The horizontal measurment at the top of the cylinder bore was 5.5120, the verticle measurement at the top was 5.5140 The horizontal measurements at the back of the cylinder bore was 5.5025 and the verticle measurement was 5.5040. The factory bore is stated to be 5.4996 - 5.5010

Will standard size rings fit this without boring?

How many hours do you plan to put on it? How good is your local machine shop? and finally, how much money does the wife let you have? Measure the pistons too. What was the reason for teardown? /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif SteveV
