Do I need to wash my tractor after changing the loader control valve?

"Wash" and "tractor" don't go together. Unless what's making it dirty also stinks (i.e. "used" animal food).

I'm with that. I do use the hose to rinse off the "uaf", only because using air would get it all over myself, and to keep the sweet bodywork from totally rusting out.

According to my wife, our uaf doesn't stink, she has horses.

My tractor is brandy new so I don't have any long term experience but I have washed the mud off of mine, and found a grease fitting I missed on the 10 hour service.

If you use your tractor close to daily then keep it reasonably clean by cleaning off the grease and heavy dirt. Don't worry too much about appearance 'cause you're gonna wear it out anyway and it's value is mainly in it's usefullness to it's next owner, maintainence is paramont. If you have invested in something like a CUT that you will use as needed to maintain relatively small acreage then keeping it looking good makes sense since you'll likely never wear it out and it will remain more valuable. My 9N is 60 years old and it dosen't get washed much and I keep it under a roof. My CUT is new and will be kept indoors with my Harley and roadster. I expect the kids will enjoy all of them when I check out.

this Kubota was one of the tractors I looked @ when shopping for a CUT. Not bad for almost 30 year old pc of machine:D :D

First thing I did when I got my NH was apply a few coats of wax... the mud just slides off of it as quickly as it goes on:D

Soooo, why didn't you buy it? I bet he could sell it in a heartbeat if he'd paint the loader.
