I live in the New England area and all except one of the JD dealerships are owned by the same company. As far as I'm concerned, I've crossed JD off my shopping list because one company has a near monopoly on dealerships in five states around me. Because of this, what motivation does the lone JD dealership that isn't owned by said monopoly have to negotiate on price when they can charge the same amount (or extremely close to) the company that holds a monopoly?
