I got out to the lake about 10:30am yesterday and setup a drinkin cooler and a canopy for the womenfolk.. My 2 buddies showed up about 15 minutes later.. then my wife an her friend showed up. We did some fishin off the bank for about 4 hrs.. then went out in a boat for about an hour.. then back to the bank for another couple hours... just taking it easy..

Caught 36 fish...

Loaded everything up and went back to my place cleaned them ( took 1.5 hr ).. then threy em in a bag with some flour and cornmeal and let em hit the grease. Had some sweet corn and tater salad to go with em.

Me an my 2 buddies all got .. like uh.. 12th degree sunburns on parts that weren't covered goo ! ( OOPS!! ).. between that and leaning over a table cleanin fish for so long.. aspirin was our friend last night before supper.

Fishing trip got switched into taking wife to movies......:(, ;)

(I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry. Go see it! VERY FUNNY)

Fishing expedition is this afternoon, after Brickyard 400 ends.

And you can even sit on my side of the lake, so long as you bring the ale!

Where you made your mistake was when you fished with bait. I prefer to fish with a bare hook as it seems to cut down on reeling and cleaning and you can always have a hamburger with your tatersalad and sweet corn. also I would think a man of your obvious intelligence would know to fish from the shady area only.

Sounds like a good hearty meal!

My fishing expedition was with a 6 year old granddaughter. 3 fish, all small, no sunburn, lots of laughing and throwing rocks in the water. Total time, about an hour and 45 minutes.

Got another trip planned in September. Guided striper bass fishing.

A bad day fishing is still better than a good day working!

We did fish from the shady-est area we could find.. however the hour on the boat did the most damage...

Yep.. could fished without catching any.. but I had a taste for crispy fried greasy cornmeal battered fish in my mouth all weekend...

Well we haven't heard anything in over a week. Is it safe to assume that no news is good news? I'm seriously considering one of these cab tractors(or a compact wheel loader) so I hope the new machine is still running strong.

It's got 20.8 hours on it now (I was just out moving stuff around)
and zero issues
which is a good thing.
It's way better than the other one ever was (power, electric, etc)
cruise control worked for hours the other day,we mowed 6' tall weeds (really! and those were the small ones) and it did fine.

NH did step up.
Although until I get to 50+ I'm really still not trusting it. (and one can see why)

Well I'm glad to hear the new machine is still running good. Thanks for the report/update. Keep us informed, wether it's good news or bad.

I also had bad luck with New Holland. Two leaks within 75 hours and three clutches within 340 hours. I love my new Massey. New Hollands fix is to up grade-so after the fifth one I got it right and upgraded to Massey.
