It's not uncommon to have clean oil, as really there is not much that can get in there, the process of changing it is really to keep it fresh, it also gives you an opportunity to check for ware, I.e metal filings coming out with the oil. Really they use so little and oil is cheap, so no harm in doing it!
All this said I know many gearbox's that haven't seen oil in 30 years, and they are still crunching away!

Hung the slasher on the loader and finally got some metal filings (not a lot) from the oil that was sitting at the bottom of the gearbox. Thanks again for the help.

I changed my Bx24 front diff fluid at 50 hours, bad, with Amsoil SS gear. Also did the mowe deck too. Now the front sweep still has orginal fluid, aka not used much.
